Where it all started…

Filmmaking came into my life not just as a hobby, but as a lifeline—a powerful means to extend beyond the spoken word and touch the very essence of human connection. When I moved to the United States at the age of 15, I grappled with expressing the complex tapestry of emotions and values that were etched into my being by my experiences back home. My heart was full of stories from vast, open African plains, adventures with my dad that shaped who I am, but I found it overwhelmingly difficult to share these narratives in a way that others could truly understand and feel.

In 2022, I seized the opportunity to return to these roots and capture the spirit of my homeland in "Namibia - A Retro Overland Adventure." During this three-week journey with my father and friends, cruising through the breathtaking landscapes in our old Jeeps, I was not just reconnecting with my past; I was also crafting a bridge to others, sharing a piece of my soul through the lens of my camera. This journey was a profound reminder of why I turned to filmmaking in the first place—to convey stories that resonate deeply and stir emotions, bridging gaps between diverse worlds.
