I care about the part that feels real.

I’m Damian. For the past six years, I’ve helped businesses turn their people, work, and live moments into films that communicate something honest.

I’m drawn to the details that cannot be manufactured: the way a founder talks when they forget about the camera, the concentration behind a craft, the shift in energy when an event comes alive. That is usually where the story is.

When you work with StoryThread, you work directly with me from the first conversation through production and final delivery. For a larger project, I bring in a trusted Houston crew around the needs of the day, never more machinery than the story requires.

Where the approach began

Namibia taught me to let the story breathe.

One of the most meaningful films I have made came from three weeks traveling through Namibia with my father and close friends. The landscapes, people, and pace of the journey changed how I filmed.

I learned to prepare thoroughly, then stay present enough to notice what the plan could never predict. That balance of clear intention and open eyes is still the foundation of every StoryThread production.
