About the series
Committee Stories Built for Volunteer Connection.
From 2023 through 2026, StoryThread Studios partnered with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo internal communications department to produce more than 20 committee spotlight films. Each piece brought one of the organization’s volunteer committees into focus, showing the people, purpose, and work behind the Rodeo.
The films were distributed to all 37,000 volunteers and served two connected goals: helping recruit volunteers into the right committee and recognizing the people whose time and commitment make the organization possible. The ten selections on this page represent favorite pieces from the larger series.
